Founded in 1976, Modelação PAULISTA manufactures models and equipment for foundries in general. We are located in Indaiatuba, State of São Paulo in Brazil, in our own building, where we have 1,300m² of floor space available for the manufacture of our products. In the beginning, we manufactured wooden models in artisanal processes, using pantographs and conventional milling machines when we needed a more elaborate model, or in metal.
With the arrival of CNC machines in 2000, the company underwent a radical change in its production processes, which directly influenced the quality and complexity of its products. Today, we have state-of-the-art CNC equipment of different sizes and complex CAD/CAM software to manufacture our products in such a way as to accurately guarantee the size of the product, its quality, its durability and the satisfaction of our customers.

We manufacture and develop tooling for foundries in general. We currently have a 1300m² plant equipped with modern machinery to manufacture our products with excellence. There are 2 CAD/CAM softwares supplying projects, information and programs to our industrial plant equipped with 7 CNC Milling machines, 1 Machining Center among others, and a team of 10 qualified professionals working exclusively in our production area. All our processes are defined and documented by the ISO 9001 quality system, which is in place and we are nationally and internationally certified. Among our products are: Loose and plated models, core boxes, shell molding plates, devices and equipment for casting in general, for manual and automatic processes, in Styrofoam, wood, cibatool, aluminum, cast iron and steel.
CONTACT USSteel models are generally requested by our customers when they need a very high run of parts, as they have high precision and durability. The design is completely prepared in CAD/CAM. Machining is done directly on blocks or sheets of steel that are roughed and finished on our CNC machines. Fine finishing and assembly of the project components is carried out, as well as a dimensional check for approval and delivery to the customer. These projects, as well as those for aluminum models, are closely monitored by our Technical Sales Director, who visits customers to ensure that the model will work correctly in the foundry that will use it. Subsequent contacts are also made to monitor the model until it is approved for continuous production.
Wooden models are generally requested by our customers when demand for the casting will not be high. With a lower cost and a shorter lifespan, they are an excellent option for those castings that won't have a large print run. Even so, they maintain the standard of quality and precision that the piece requires, as they are made in CAD/CAM, copied on CNC machines and finished by hand, according to the customer's request, sanded or varnished. The raw materials used are naval plywood, or hardwoods such as cedar, all certified by the brazillian environmental office. The Cibatool models, like the wooden ones, are requested when the demand for the casting is not high, or when a prototype will be made for the production of test pieces, until the project is approved and the definitive tooling in aluminum, iron or steel is manufactured.
Aluminum models, our largest production, are generally requested by our customers when they need a larger run of parts, as they are more precise and durable than wooden models. The project is entirely CAD/CAM. A Styrofoam model of the product is made, cast and returned to our factory for final machining on our CNC machines. The components of the project are finished and assembled by hand, as well as checked for dimensions, approved and delivered to the client. For these more complex projects, our Technical Sales Director makes follow-up visits to the customers to ensure that the model will work correctly in the foundry that will use it. Subsequent contacts are also made to follow up the model until it is approved for continuous production. Cast iron models are also made in the same way as aluminum models, but they are more durable for greater production demand. Sometimes, depending on the complexity of the parts, they are machined directly from cast iron blocks, without the need to cast them.
